    yeah. Fred.

He's grey visible carbon, and now has got nice yellow stelvio tires, so pretty. I think I'll get yellow bar tape next time.

My specialized rockhopper mtb is a purdy shade of royal blue - he's Baloo.

My trek 2100 wsd is currently being called Margurite (she stops for margarita's for some reason.... )

And my green hulky diamondback hybrid is called....the Hulk.

    Happy bike naming

My road bike is a Novara Carema Pro. She is lime green and cream. Her name was Sweet Pea for about 6 months, but she has since renamed herself Zoom. What can I say, it's what she likes to do best.
My mtb is a Specialized Hard Rock Pro. She is a carmelized champagne color with tan, dark brown and light green accents. Her name is Pounce. It fits her well. Of course after this past weekend, she could rename herself mudball...

    Not bikes.

I have named all my cars:

-Jezebel my 1986 Cutlass that was my first car. "Angry Johnny" by Poe was very popular and since I was the first with a license my car got around alot.
-Delilah my Neon. A friend and I watched "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" before heading on a bowling road trip. We thought it to be bad karma if the car wasn't named, so we stole the name of Whoopi's character.
-Venus my bright yellow New Beetle. I miss her, she was such a fabulous car.
-Layla my Saturn Vue. It was a POS. I called it Layla after the Eric Clapton song because my Layla always had me begging. She was in the shop 8 times in 15 months.
-Gretchen is my Dodge Caliber. Because it is name that is "Anything but cute". Not that I don't think it is a bad name, it just isn't cutesy.

I call our Dodge Ram Guenther because I can! Funny thing is my mom and husband refer to the cars by their names. My husband also called my Fuji by name.

She's been named now, but I'm bashful about it

I ended up buying the Cannondale R800 (and have started saving up for a tri bike), and when I was describing the bike to my friends, I said that it was silver, like the streak in my hair (which I am adamant is not gray). So I've been thinking of her as "the Silver Streak" ever since. What can I say? We compliment each other and so far seem to go well together.

LOL - love the bike and the name.

Only one of my three bikes has a name. Its my lovely orange Juliana she is the flying pumpkin. It was just after Halloween when I got her and the kids said she reminded them of a pumpkin and she has been know to fly on occasion.

My cherry red specialized Allez is named Wolfgang (ala one of my fave composers - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart). Because to me its a classic that never goes out of style.

And of course, for all my friends that think my cycling borders on obsession, rather than always saying I'm going for a bike ride, I can simply say I'm going out with Wolfgang. Then it sounds like I'm dating a sexy german guy.
