I met my friend up in the Boonies for a ride after work yesterday. We got all geared up--it felt colder than the temperature would have us believe--and set out right at 6 p.m. About a half mile into the ride, it started to sprinkle. A few cuss words and a short debate later, we decided to keep going. It was dark overhead, but there was some clearing on the horizon to the west. Gradually, the skies cleared and by the time we got back to our cars--after about 25 miles--it had turned into the a nice evening. Still cold, but bearable.

I love playing (and winning) a game of chicken with the weather gods!
