It won't necessarily go away after you run. If the compression is bad enough you'll get a certain amount of tissue damage with every run related to lack of adequate blood flow to the muscles. This can set up an inflammatory response, just like any other injury, that can cause pain for 4 to 7 days after the event. So, if you run more often than every 4 to 7 days and you have very high pressures in the compartments of the lower leg, you could quite easily have constant pain.

I would try to get into see a Sports Medicine Doc or a Physiatrist, preferrably one that does some sports related work.
