Poor DH. I've been doing pretty well in the kitchen these days, but dinner tonight wasn't very good. I feel bad for him.

Only solution - chocolate (sweetened with beet sugar of course).

Time for a shower and tandem mala on the mat. (thank you for the mardis gras beads, beth!)

    Hugs & butterflies,

Fine, thanks a lot everyone, now I'm off to the store to reload the chocolate supply (which, by the way, will be hidden from everyone!)
    My list:
Cadbury mini eggs and Lindt truffles (milk chocolate variety, thank you).
    Mmmmmm.....

Hmmm...I just realized that I don't look like my avatar anymore since I got my hair whacked off last week.
Maybe it's time to start looking for a new avatar? Great, one more thing to worry about!
    Ok, off to the store.

Hershey's Dark 100 calorie bars to hide in my desk. I always think I'll just eat one, but I eat more.

DS#1 bought me a tablet of Lindt Blueberry and Almond noir Myrtille Intense for my birthday. I have kept it intacta for several days. (Medal of Valour in the post as I write!)
Only for the anti-oxidants of course!

I know we've created a 4th drift (ladies! you're like herding cats!) but I think I'll just continue to do what I do, drifting entire threads here and there by pointing out strange and/or troubling factoids.

    ...but not too strange.

    ...and not too troubling.

Back from the store and have happily stashed my chocolate supply.
On the way home I saw this bright red, really sporty sports car convertable being driven by a georgous blond...who was picking her nose!
Ewww...what makes people think that just because they have climbed into the driver's seat and shut the door that they are completely invisable to the rest of us?

That last post took away any budding desire I had for chocolate.

I suppose I should thank you?

How about simnel cake then instead of the chocolate? Or is that just a British thing?
I really ought to make mine tonight.

Thanks for the laugh! If I were bold, I would have blown the horn. Heh.

The word "cake" caught my eye. Please, please share the recipe.
