actually, I re-read my post and wrote it incorrectly(dyslexia...not so much fun at times
).
the adjustment is on the right side (when facing the bag)...so, when I wore it over my right shoulder so the bag would swing to my left side/hand--the adjustment was on my back/shoulder so I couldn't adjust/pull the bag tighter when I was riding. it does have a stabilizer strap, which was helpful but, still left something to be desired re: my own comfort carrying stuff.
