We (mostly DH) pruned the peach tree, and some mystery trees at the back of the yard. I moved the peony, hydrangea and english ivy.
That peony prob'ly won't flower for another few years now. They don't like being moved. But they can't always get what they want. Sometimes ya gotta move'em, and they do survive it. They just take some years settling into their new home.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.
