It is April 1st, and my Christmas tree is still up.

    No kidding.

Yup, it's a $20 fakey from Target. But it looks pretty good for a fakey. And you can use it year after year, and sometimes even *all* year!!

Hey, Knot! Make it an easter tree? The neighbours have a couple of trees in their yard decked out in bright coloured plastic easter eggs. It looks much more festive and fun than that sounds. Honest.

Yeah, keep it up and do the Easter/Passover tree, with Passover rabbits underneath (easter bunny with a yalmuke?)

That reminds me of an old "Sylvia" cartoon of uses for a worn-out certain birthcontrol object. It could be reused as a waterproof yalmuke for cats...

Well, the tree is down. In the process of trying to put the tree back into the hall closet I managed to create an avalanche of the contents thereof, and found that the tent and camp stove I thought had been left in exDPITA's basement were, in fact, residing peacefully in the depths of my hall closet.

Happiness for the fate of those two things, but still morose about several others which I *know* are in ex's sphere of influence.

Must "leave it" and "move on".

    Better things ahead, eh?

Last long weekend morning. I just got up - checking mail, drinking coffee. Gotta go into work today to get my classroom ready for the week...

I am here. I just finished exercising and have the laundry going. The house is basically back to pre-Spring Break shape. It is snowing on and off again today. I do love snow.
