According to the doctors 3 kg is an average baby. And I am teling you, I am very happy that she wasn't any bigger considering my own frame. All kids in my family were really big, so I consider myself lucky. She came out so clean and so perfect! Well, I should just quit because I can talk forever about her.![]()
We don't have a bike for her yet, but my husband is already looking for a trailer. He is planning to ride uphill with her to get even stronger.![]()
You *do* have to feed them all the time, tho'
Which I only realised when DS#2 was born at 3.7 kg/8 lbs 2 oz and he would go for *hours* between feeds.
All you need is love...la-dee-da-dee-da...all you need is love!
Her feedings are still a bit inconsistent. On average she lasts 2.5 hours, sometimes longer. But sometimes she cluster feeds as well. It is typical for any baby. I get adjusted by taking day naps. It is really managable.
Ha on the trailer, Lenusik! Our baby isn't due until August, and can't ride in the trailer until she is a year old, but I picked up our Chariot Cougar on Thursday. Needed to use that REI dividend on coupon on something. My husband used his dividend and coupon today on the stroller conversion kit, so we'll be able to use it that way before it can safely go behind the bike.
He was ambivalent about kids until I pointed out what a good training tool the trailer would be. Hard to get hill practice here in the flat lands.![]()
