I've been going to the gym for 4 years, started doing core exercises for the past month. I'm 5'6" 120lbs. I need to build muscles badly if I want to be a good biker.

Going to eat nachos tonight at Boston Pizza, need protein... Ha, Ha!

    My skeleton weighs about 120...

(Actually, my lean body mass weighs about 135 lbs. How scary is that? Oh well. I am a bit over 5'6" )

I'd be very pleased to see 135. I'd be pleased to see 145.

I will never see those numbers while still breathing. Possibly after being flayed and boiled.

    At 5' 1 1/2" I was pretty happy at 120 ish (usually 122)....

At 130ish (132 last I checked) I am trying to accept myself, but wishing for closer to 125.

It's really quite ironic that I've been diagnosed with a disease whose primary symptom is usually dramatic weight loss. Can you imagine? Just a few pounds....it would be such a relief! heehee

Actually, if I could just get my energy to stay for good I know that I can lose it - with energy I can bike, with biking I can lose weight! I can't wait!!

    Hugs and butterflies,

There are "auditions" in Cinci for some model show (I do not pay close attention to these things) BUT I noticed I could not even try in my wildest dreams (looks and weight aside) I am older then the cut-off of 27 and I am not the minimium height of 5'7. *sigh*

Yeah, I'm not anorexic and 6 feet tall so I probably wouldn't qualify either. That, plus being almost 53 they'd consider me nursing home material, practically DEAD already!
Sigh...I'll have to try to find a life somehow, some other way....

We just spent the day at the zoo with the in-laws. It was a fun time - a special weekend at the zoo for families, so they had lots of extra activities. It's sooooooo nice to live somewhere that has stuff to do!

I think we're getting crawfish again tonight. I'll eat some for you MP.

The new pup seems to have done nothing bad while we were out. She does have a thing about laying on the sofa, though. Ah well.

YES! I did! Very cool! My sister and I had a great time! We kept laughing and saying to each other in a groovy german accent, "Gunther vants to plastinate you, ya!"...."Gunther vants your body, ya!"

Our talking like silly German tourists did not ammuse others however. They must have thought we were nuts! Did you sign up to donate your body?? Eeeww.

    Hey, folks!

The new outside living room is beginning to take shape. I have erradicated the lilac (lots of digging - that was fun in the warm sun!) and tomorrow we will remove the debris, do more digging and levelling and try to figure out what our temporary cost-free plan is. We'd like to use the area this year, but it will probably be next year or the year after before DH installs the outdoor gas firepit, and we can afford to put proper rocks down, etc. We might decide to pay a little less down on our debts in order to do the rock this year, but we'll be sticking with the cheap plastic furniture for now.....etc.

And the peach tree looks a fright. I bet it has been 8 years or longer since it has been pruned. Since we have no idea what we are doing, it may not recover. We enjoyed having a few peaches last year, but I could easily do with twenty peaches or so, not the hundreds we got last year. Sad thing was, the tree lost several large branches due to the weight. Apparently we should have thinned the peaches out.

Time to get the veggies cooking. BBQ steak, too. yummy
