How exactly does this attach? Looks neat, but not big enough to carry my laptop. *sigh*

Looks like a bar bag with straps around the bars. How wide is it?

    The shoes are size 9.

Bag dimensions: (approx) 31cm wide, 21 cm tall, 9 cm deep. Plus there are two very expandable cargo pockets on the back side (facing the rider)

It's a bar bag with a wooden rod/shaper on the inside near the top edge. The two leather straps that attach it to the bars go into the bag itself and are anchored around the wooden rod.

The wool waterproof versions have extra rings sewn into the sides so you can tie the sides of the bag to the bars so the bag won't swing. I had no issues with mine swinging. The bike cables run between the two cargo pockets and pretty much anchored mine in place.

The straps with buckles rather than velcro look nifty too.

Nice bag. Where did you two buy them again? Easter is coming and I need one.

We got them at the Rivendell place, so we were able to fondle all the bags. We both liked the waxed canvas the best.
