Name of new pup - Cassi (short for Cassiopiea - the constellation). I am going to spend most of tomorrow picking up the kids toys so Cassi won't eat them!

Trekhawk - Gasp... crawfish (crayfish) are part of louisiana culture! They are similar to what you might know as a yabby? BTW - do you know what a yabby pump is? I used one extensively as a grad student (actually I have my own). Here's a link with all sorts of info on crawfish: http://www.crawfish.org/home.htm

Thanks DrBee - they sound yummy. I have seen a yabby pump but I have never used one. All this talk of yummy things has made me very hungry.

MP - Oh you are sooooo bad! Good thing I ate it before I looked at the link - I would have spit it all over my beautiful monitor. An acquired talent of a seasoned TD poster.

Lobster is super yummy - funny. Fishjr (I need to come up with new names for them) was calling the crawfish lobster last night - drove her dad nuts!

Crab is my favorite of all time.

In the Bahamas, they call their lobsters 'crawfish' - Florida lobsters, where you only eat the tail. When you catch them out of season, they call them 'hard-backed grouper'!
