My weight loss group didn't have a meeting last week, and I lost 3.4 or 4 pounds at the weigh-in this week (I don't remember exactly what I was two weeks ago).

Because I've got a nasty cold, I won't be getting much exercise in this week. But I have no appetite so I don't think I have to worry about a gain.

BMO3 - no. Can't shake my low grade fever. I have my annual exam on Friday and was hoping to hold out until then so I wouldn't have to pay 2 office visits (I have a podiatrist bill coming my way ). Besides, I'm less concerned about the lower end part if the upper end isn't feeling so good

OTG - hope you're feeling better too. I hear you on the no appetite. But I keep daydreaming about a nap. Probably why I can't concentrate at work!

Dar and OTG-both of you rest as much as possible and stay hydrated. I hope you both feel better soon!

I hope you don't mind if I jump in here. i have been watching this weigh in thread and wanted to add mine. I started at 146. I have cut out sugar and stopped having secounds. I am not fat but just need to lighten up a bit. I had steroids for a terrible rash i had about 3 years ago. The rash lasted for 4 months! It made me gain 10 pounds! I was always really hugery! HATE steroids! Never again!
I have been doing this for a month now. I weighed in this morning at 142.3is that at least a little good?

I have not gained this week, but I haven't lost any, either, and I have about 5-8 more that I would like to off load. I tried on bathing suits today and now I feel like I should go to the gym, even though I wasn't planning it today! I am hating that I feel this way...fat. I have lost close to 15 pounds since Christmas, but am not satisfied. I just need to stop obsessing about it! Yikes----maybe it is hormonal!!!

    Throwing helmet into the ring...

I hope y'all don't mind me logging in too. I started cycling when I found myself gaining middle age weight. I was 130 (I'm only 5'1") So I got on a bike. 2 years later, I was down to 110! That was the best. I felt strong, but light and I felt I could fly up hills. (LIttle hills - I'm such a flatlander) But after this last winter and too much good food, I weigh in at 118! Ouch. I'm also always a bit heavier in the winter, because I weight train, which I stop in the Spring/Summer to able to ride better and lighter; but in my case I have a pronounced belly fat. Dang.

    NO MORE CHEESE ITS!!
