    sand

Duck..If you come to Western Australia you could enjoy biking on sand on most of the bike paths. Even better, you could bike on pea gravel on the mtb trails..

    It's exciting..

KG-or should I say the new Mrs. D, congratulations again and your scenery pictures were a delight to look at.
-I still have the cheater platform on one side of my clipless as well.

-the lunch you had yesterday sounds divine. Oh, I just noticed you should be at the airport. Wishing you safe travels!

    - I am so happy your weekend was an enjoyable on. It sounds as though you had a brilliant time. If your daughter ever lacks any wool, just let me know. Thank you, I think my family is fairly wonderful.

DoW-Beautiful flowers. Spring had skipped us. We went from an extremely mild winter to hot, humid and hazy summer. It is again forecasted to be 80*F.

Time to prod the boys further along and get DH out the door.

Bmomo'3, you're right, I just came back from the airport

CC, I think Australia and Antarctica are the only continents DoW has not been to? And since it's not likely a sociology prof will be invited to Antarctica she could go to Australia.

    Good morning All!

K&T - glad you had such a fantastic weekend! And, yes, I would love for you to cook for me any time!

Duck - I love seeing the bees in the flowers! Great photo you got there! Isn't spring the best?

Mimi - congrats! You will get used to the pedals and will have more power!

Yesterday we did a very nice ride in the park. Three women taking it easy - one in serious training on an easy training day, J & I just getting back to riding....it was great! Of course I have no idea how anyone gets anything done when the biking starts again!! We have so much yard work to do and just did the basics, we didn't manage to clean the house at all, did not get enough laundry done, didn't give 'Cuda's foot the soakings it needed....boy I'm glad it's riding season again!

    Hugs & butterflies,

Back in Seattle again... (sing it, everyone!)

Slept some on the plane, got coffee in the airport, ate a Larabar while stuck in traffic on the freeway.

Got about 10 minutes before I have to go to work.

I did manage to cook b'fast this morning after all, just scrambled eggs and cheese. Nothing exciting. And we ate as fast as we could so we could get me to the airport on time.

I don't feel like going to work. I wanna take a nap, then go for a ride on Flossie with her new stem and headset and GORGEOUS Rivendell barbag from Trek.

(hey, you guys, tomorrow is Trek's birthday!)

When you get a chance, please take a pic of Flossie and her upgrades.

Hey Knot, I put a new stem on my Rivendell yesterday too!!!
I test rode it today, and seems pretty good to go so far. I want to do some longer rides on it before I do any other tweaking.
