mr. silver held up very well!!!! He kept us on a brisk pace. I had stopped him because he had left his bag unzipped and just as we got started again, the man asked us for help.
Again, more reason to always keep ID and phone numbers to call. He had his driver's license and knew that he needed to look at it to get home. Only problem was that his home was 40 miles away. He had a Project Lifesaver wristband on, but we called the number and there was no answer.
We called the police station later and they said that got him home.
we saw some other cyclists and one of them said to Mr..... "nice bike"
PS: I've got my old bike here (the wrecked trek 1000) because I couldn't bear the thought of the Madone riding on the back of the car for 600 miles."Being retired from Biking...isn't that kinda like being retired from recess?" Stephen Colbert asked of Lance Armstrong
