We had Copenhagen city bikes for our Denmark tour last summer, and all of us women were dying in our lower backs -- the distance from saddle to handlebars was just too great, we were seriously overreaching. Definitely get the fit checked before you hurt yourself, bicycling should only hurt good!

I do not lean forward at all on this bike. I more like sit back and my handle bars are high, so no lean, but when I was hoofing up the bridge I was leaning forward some. Thats the only thing I can think of. The guy at the shop fit me for my bike.

Thank you so much for the link! I set up my profile, and I LOVE how you can keep track of everything!!!!
Now that I finally have MY bike and am not riding DH's anymore, I'm going to be doing ALOT more. Had my first ride this morning what a difference!! Did 25 miles, and felt like I could have gone another 25 it is sooo much more comfortable!
