What could I possibly be doing wrong or do I need to do to help this?
I have stiff shoes that fit well. I ride about 12 miles per ride, 2 or 3 times per week.
My husband's hands will appreciate any advice that will decrease the ache in my arches!

Could it be Plantar Fasciitis??

I've had it in the past. For me, Nike's were unbearable (and I considered them stiff), but my dress shoes were very comfortable (because they had a steel stay in the sole).
Stretching, awareness, pain reliever....and in a couple weeks it was gone.

Also, check to make sure your cleats are placed in the proper position on the shoes.
I have super high arches AND a full size difference in my feets, so my cleat placement is essential to comfort and function.

Hello all, I think I will try all of the stuff mentioned. I ordered insolesI also will go to LBS and see about adjustments on cleat placement. My mom has been treated for Plantar Fasciitis and I will follow the advice of her podiatrist and the info on the link. Thanks for the great advice!!!!
