you may know this, but let me pass it on anyway -- a little GREASE LIGHTENING gently rubbed on your tape and then wiped off will restore your dirty tape to sparkling clean!

I have celeste bar tape on my Axis, and of course it would get pretty dirty while I was riding this winter. I found that a sponge and a bucket with warm water and a little dish soap worked wonders (I was a little nervous about using water at first but it's been fine).

I'm sure my neighbors thought I was a little crazy, outside on my porch in 20 degree weather, giving my bike a bath with a sponge and dish brush every day before bringing it back inside...

Edit: Oh btw, I REALLY like your orange tape!!!

Definitely. When I redo, I may put black on the tops and orange on the drops, just because the tops get dirty first. I, Of course, dropped the chain on my first ride with the new tape and managed to get lube on the new tape on the tops.
