The wedding is today! (So what am I doing online? )

I weighed in at 121.5 this morning but I've been around 120.5 for the past 3-4 days so that's what I'm going with. Who knows what I'll be this time next week after a few days of undisciplined eating.

Have a good week everyone - I know I will!

    So far so good

Well it has been 5 weeks since I decided to begin this journey (thanks to everyone for the inspiration!). I increased my food, decreased my exercise to 7 hours per week (a medical compromise my neuro and I came to) and I have energy and the results are good.

For this week: I lost another pound (I am close to goal so from here on I do not expect to see any losses higher than a pound). I shed 2 1/4 inches this week which thills me.

In the past 5 weeks (In case someone is keeping an overall count): I have shed 14 unwanted pounds, 10 3/4", and over 3% body fat (yay me!)

Oh, my all time favourite number-since I changed my lifestyle 2 years ago, my resting heart rate went from 99 to (drum roll....) 50!!!

Keep up the good work everyone.

KG-have a wonderful time, enjoy yourself!

I have pretty much stayed stable this week, but had several dinners out, which always screws me up some. The good news is that I went shopping today and though I didn't buy anything, I tried on several size 12 pants and shorts, and THEY FIT and a couple were even baggy!!!! WhooooHoooo! It has motivated me to keep on going, and though I walked four miles with my friend this morning, I still went to the gym tonight---I feel like I am on a roll!!

Sounds like everyone is doing pretty good! Yay!

I haven't braved the scale today. But I was almost able to get into my Calvin Klein jeans this morning--that was good. Actually, I could get them on, but I couldn't bend over

I've been eating a lot better after a few days of celebrating birthdays and the start of the riding season. I made a huge orzo and spinach salad that I've been munching all week--it's helped keep my snacking and bingind down a lot.

I had my body composition done at a health expo earlier this week. They told me how hydrated I was, how much of my weight is fat and how much was bones and organs. It was neat. My BMI is 28. I'm goint to work so hard to get it down to 24. 15 lbs is all I need--I can do it! Dh had his composition done too, his % body fat was 8.9!!!!! Sheesh! He's all muscle. And really sexy. I love him

Congratulations all you losers. As for a few minor gains - they're minor gains and in the big scheme of thing mean nothing as long as it's a downward trend.

Last week I had my period. So I did not officially weigh in and report. I have been bloating up to 3 or 4 pounds on that week. So I was actually really happy that I only got up to 142.4. I was sure that I'd get below 140 this week.

141 and holding. I may have reached my set point. So in about 2 to 3 months I've lost 6 lbs. My goal was to get down to 135 for racing season. Theoretically I have 6 more pounds to go. Realistically, My "cottage cheese" look on the backs of the thighs and triceps has been seriously minimized and it may not be wise for me to lose much more weight. I think I'll book a hydrostatic weighing to try to get my true body fat %. Then I'll know what's up.

Great job, everyone! I won't officially weigh in this week since I have lost 5 lbs. for the wrong reasons (kidney stone that caused serious vomitting and no eating for many, many days).

Previous to that I implemented BMo3 recommendation for adding some more calories and that was helping.

    Keep up the good work!

Ouch! Kidney stone! I've never had one, but I've been around someone who was suffering. It must be terrible.

Hope no more come your way.

Karen, down another pound this week!

    Sorry about that snowtulip OUCH!

Some doctor told me once that female patients regularly told him that between delivering a baby and kidney stones, they'd deliver a baby any time.

I hope you feel better now...
