Faux Pas!!!!! I should have said the "wind was driving through me as a pedaled persistently, cycling with steady progress toward the goal....I think I can, I THINK I Can, I THINK I CAN...I CAN!!! I CAN!!!!"

I also live at the top of a big hill, with an added treat of an 800 foot driveway with a 15% grade at one point. After a year and a half here, it hasn't killed me yet, but it isn't always fun to think that it's always there at the end of a ride.

    Yippee Mr. Silver.

Way to go Pika and Mr. Pika. I also live at the top of a hill. I feel your pain. DH finally went in today and asked them to put on a new cassette so he can manage the hills a little better. We had a big ride today with LOTS of climbing, so he finally gave in. I'm still running my prarie gears. Eeeeeeekkk.
