Ok, Mimi, no dissin' the tollhouse chocolate chip cookies dear. They happen to be my all-time favorite cookie in the world. I've been known to clean people's houses, fix their cars, babysit their kids, wash their dog... for some good TH cookies. Mmmmmmmmmmmm. I can almost smell them now, fresh out of the oven, steamin. Give them about 3 minutes to stiffen/cool ever so slightly and then BAM, into the milk they go. Oooooooohhhhh!!!! *where's the salivating like a bulldog smilie when you need it?*

Note: I've already realized it was important that I know this...

With my smart mouth and general klutziness, I need to remember...
    "Nothing says 'sorry!!!' like TH"

...not that I ever intend to *intentionally* get in trouble...
    but every now and again.

So, cc, what exactly are you smiling about??

DoW - I really am grateful that we've found this early, or that I don't have it that bad, or whatever! I'm so sorry you've had such experiences!!! I'm trying not to whine too much about my very minor symptoms....I just sometimes feel so much like I'm just not me that I need to vent a bit....

oh, and he said the affected area is near the end of the small bowel, but that it is not quite at the end....and the scope only really gets to the very end. Well, we'll see if this stuff helps at all. I'm only on day one, and so far, it's not a bad day.

Kind of freaky to read that I must avoid anyone with measles or chicken pox! Good thing I don't have kids!!

    Thanks for the info!

    Hugs and butterflies,

I wasn't dissing anything! I even LIKE that recipe. (They're chocolate, after all!) I just don't make it.

Since my grandmother died, I knew that if I didn't make her recipes, they would die too. No one else in the family bothers. So.. when I have to make cookies, I make one of her recipes.

Ahhhh, biscotti! In our family they're grampa's recipe, only he (my dad) died a few years ago, so now the rest of us have to keep the recipe alive. And as far as I know, there are no cookies that affect my Crohns.

Ok, you're off the hook Mimi. But I'm gonna keep my eye on you for a while, just the same.
