Hey Starfish, I clocked a rip-roaring 2.4 mph on the steep part of Mt. Diablo on Saturday! But I made it to the top, booyah.
Lordy, I'm up to about 20,000 feet of climbing so far this month.
And yet, Saturday on Mt. Diablo and Sunday over Palomares and Redwood Road, I was still being utterly smoked by people who have been riding a fraction of what I have. No fair!! {pout}
But 'ees OK, I'm pretty happy with what I've been doing. I just like to whine.

You and your freakishly strong legs were bad enough, but your husband was even more annoying !
He hasn't ridden diddly, yet he bombs up Diablo and the next day he bombs up Palomares and the beloved "hill that goes on freakin' forever" parts 1 and 2. s'no fair !

He was exhausted after! He said he was coming home to do errands... he sat in front of the tv and the computer all afternoon.
Plus he's got that guy advantage. I have to drag him on wicked long rides to be faster than him.
