KayTee has been in touch with Jeannie's SO & she has moved to a rehab facility. He said the move was tough on her but she continued to have that positive attitude and has settled in to her new "digs".
Her contact information is:

Keep the cards coming! I am taking off tomorrow afternoon and will drive down to Richmond so KayTee and I can go visit. We will post an update after that.
Thanks so much to all you TE ladies (& gentleman) - you are the best!

Should be - I'll be checking on that today...
IFJane and I had a great visit with Jeannie today at the rehab center. Jane and Jeannie had never met each other in person, nor had Jane and I met before, and it was just a blast for all of us finally to get together. Jeannie's doing so well. Jane brought a camera and Jeannie's daughter took photos, so watch for an image and more updates when Jane gets back on line Monday. Oh, Jeannie doesn't want you to look at her hair too closely in the photo. The bulletin board in her room is not nearly large enough for her grand-kids' drawings and all the cards from TE and friends!
Hi everyone! What KayTee said! We had a wonderful time. In spite of her injuries and the long recovery, Jeannie is upbeat and ready to tackle anything the therapists/doctors throw at her. What an inspiration she is!

Below is a photo of a tin toy KayTee found for Jeannie - I think DuckonWheels needs one! Duck, where are you?![]()

Cool!I've got one of those too. I wonder why ...?
You're looking up-beat, Jeannie, in spite of all you've been through. That's a great resource. Oh, make that plural. Optimism and humor, two great resources. Glad to see you've got'em both and are putting 'em to work! Putting the rehab folks to work too, with all their professional skills. Best wishes!
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.
You're gonna exceed all the Dr's expectations!
I can just tell (being an expert myself!) by the look of you in the photo!
We are all right behind you!
ps
My card should arrive soon too even if the one from The Other Hospital didn't
