sounds like there is something wrong.
the only other thing i can think of is, is it the tires? are they really bumpy ones or something?

no it's a road bike and the rear tire is a really nice one too. I tried to adjust the knob that is touch the tire but it doesn't help. I think the trainer is defected but I was not sure if it's just my imagination or true. I bought it from amazon so there is no way I can send it back to the original seller now, I wonder if CycleOps would be able to help.

Well,
Just called CycleOps, the customer service is very good. I explained the problem to them and all I have to do is send the resistance piece for replacement. It was pretty stupid of me not to do it earlier.
