When I fall off the water-drinking wagon, I start making sure that I finish an entire glass of water (about 12 oz) before each meal/feeding. Once I've done that for a few days, I start just naturally drinking more. I also keep a big mug of cool water at my desk all day.
I also 100% agree with logging honestly! It's amazing how many extra calories a taste of this or a piece of that adds up to. When weight loss slows, I also start measuring...particularly condiments which can add up quickly.
