3/6/07 update on jeannierides' condition

I work at the academic health center where jeannierides is hospitalized, and after consulting with her SO John, gave her a call today and then stopped by for a very brief visit. She'd just had a PT session and was sitting in a wheelchair looking amazingly good for someone who's been through what she has. Way to go, Jeannie! She asked me to tell everyone hi and relay how grateful she is for the good wishes, expressions of concern and encouragement that all of you wonderful people have posted and snailmailed. I did print out and take hardcopies of the forum posts to her today so that she can read the great stuff you guys have written to her. Jeannie expects that next week she will be transferred to an inpatient rehab facility. This sounds like progress.

Sure, as soon as we know which rehab center she'll transfer to (as of yesterday her family's still researching this). In the meantime, for the rest of this week Jeannie's address is as posted last by IFJane,

Meanwhile, I tried to send her something yesterday & was informed that the delivery person was told there was no one registered by that name! I gave them some more details as to her location & they are going to try again today. So far I have not heard anything so I hope they found her."When I'm on my bike I forget about things like age. I got a really pretty card for her and sent it yesterday with hopefully words that will help keep going! And thank you for the up dates!

Well, folks...I just called patient information and was told that there is no patient registered in that name. I swear to you guys that I really did see and speak with her about 1:15 yesterday in her hospital room! Jane, we'll just have to e-mail Jeannie's SO and see if he can tell us what's up.
