    all about me, too

    Real name: Staci

Where do you live? Augusta, GA

Explanation of your handle: The 'anni' is from my given name Anastasia and my mom calls me Anni when I'm being a pill, 'sk' is how I sign papers, 2005 is the year of my emancipation, I mean divorce.
    Explanation of your avatar: Huh?
Age (general or specific) 42 and getting younger every day
    Occupation: elementary art teacher
Favorite bike: still learning and researching
What's in your stable? My personal bikes: Giant OCR1, Trek, 9 other Giants in the garage for the rest of the kids and my BF.

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? I haven't the slightest idea.

Another picture of yourself or your ride? None available

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: Well, once there was this guy...

Most memorable moment on my bike: riding the back roads of South Carolina with the sunlight peaking thru the trees. It was so peaceful and quiet.

Most fun ever had on a bike? Finishing my first 30 mile fun ride. It sounded so far once upon a time. Now I'm hooked.

    Real name: Soo

Where do you live? Bothell, WA

Explanation of your handle: whole name is Soo-Gyung, born in the year of the tiger

Explanation of your avatar: showing props to my heritage

Age (general or specific) 32, but turning 33 in July (hey, its only a #)

Occupation: SAHM, LMP wannabe(hopefully attending school this fall. Anyone know any good daycare providers in the area?)

Favorite bike: Vanilla=Sexy DH originally wanted to get me one of these, but there's a waiting period of 22 mos. and I need a bike I can ride now. I think he received proposals of marriage from a couple of people from his riding group when he mentioned this to them. Oh well, maybe my next bike can be one of those.

What's in your stable? Terry Classic (that I'm selling), Custom Rodriguez Adventure being built as we speak(come on guys, you really ought naught keep a women waiting )

Fastest speed on a road bike? Probably only about 25 because I'm such a wuss going downhill, so I'm constantly riding the brakes. I averaged 12 mph once which is fast for me. (Yes, I am a slow poke, thank-you very much. )

Another picture of yourself or your ride? Here's a few from this July 4th. We rode around Seattle and picnicked in the park afterwards. I'm the one wearing a burgundy shirt, on the gold bike, towing a trailer.

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: I try not to but when you have kids there's things they are not ready to know.(Yes, the tooth fairy is real. And mommy & daddy were only wrestling.)

Most memorable moment on my bike: When I did the Bridge Pedal a few years ago. My SO had drill so I had to go it alone. I was feeling apprehensive as it was my first group/organized type ride, but everyone was so nice and supportive. I have to admit that it felt good to pass people on hills who were stopped or walking their bikes up (and in way better shape, if I may add. Petty, I know.). Of course I was in my granny gears. Thank the stars for those.

Most fun ever had on a bike? Gee. Riding always seems to put a big goofy grin on my face! But when I can do it with friends, that's the best.

ohh - I'm almost ashamed to admit this: my mtb has a flat tire and I haven't really gotten around to fixing it.

Thanks for the warm welcome all - it's good to be back!

    Welcome to TE.

    How old are your kids?

It sounds like you have two nice bikes and you live in the most beautiful place in the world. Must be good places to ride there too.

    Make yourself at home!

Where do you live? Queensland, Australia

Explanation of your handle: I'm an Aussie and I'm a girl - not very original i know.

Explanation of your avatar: I don't have one yet.

    Age (general or specific) 26

    Occupation: Health

Favorite bike: Orbea make beautiful bikes. BT make great track bikes, but i don't ride track - i just like to look at the bikes.

What's in your stable? Alchemy Millward 2004 (Ultegra model)

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? about 75km/hr - not sure in mph. After coming down a really steep little hill in a rural part of Queensland - the hill leads on to a gently downward sloping long mostly straight section, so the momentum just keeps building.

Another picture of yourself or your ride? I don't have very many pics of myself.

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: Sometimes when i was young i'd lie to my parents about where i was going and what i was doing - that's about it.

Most memorable moment on my bike: I completed this huge 100km bike race - i was like the only girl in it, and the moment i remember is passing some tough guys when i was going up a hill near the end - they never caught up and i finished somewhere in the middle numbers. That was when i was fit.

Most fun ever had on a bike? Playing a game i call "Oops, my wheel slipped" when riding in a bunch through puddles after rain. The aim is to splash as much water and mud as possible from the puddle on to the rider behind you. It's not an official game - it's just mucking around and is great fun on a warm summer morning.
