This morning it was 16F with a wind chill of 0. Snow coming tomorrow. I'd settle for temps consistently above freezing with little to no wind....sigh...
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

Well, even though it was an unusual 13 degrees today, windy, and generally awful, it will be 50 or so on Saturday.

Tmes like this, I think about what it was like when I left work and had to open my car door when it was 112 F outside.

    Don't miss it at all.

DId I just ruin my race day karma??

Ya know taunting all of you kind folks out east may have been a mistake.... Knowing my luck karma will smack me in the asz come race day (4/15/07) and it will be windy as hell!!!!
    So I retract my post....
It was cold and miserable today. Yeah, yeah, that's it.. COLD, MISERABLE, WINDY, SNOWING, ICE, SLEET, UMMM... all of that. Phoenix is the new Alaska, yeah that's it....

Heck I don't think I've ever seen "sleet" come to think about it. I also want to see hail the size of a golf ball. Never have seen that. I would imagine it would hurt, and may even dent your car.. I do know that they have "hail insurance" which just cracks me up.
    Ok I'm rambling....
    Ciao!

I can't wait to ride without my tights over my shorts, 4 layers on top, head band, and warm gloves.... sigh...

OK, Denise: Monday, rode in windy conditions--gusts aroung 40mph. It was 40 degrees or so. Yesterday, the wind was a bit calmer--gusts only to around 25mph, but it was downright cold (lower 30s). Today, SNOW again, so who knows when HillSlug and I will be able to ride outside again. Please send spring east, ok?

Ditto on bringing spring East, as long as it is warm sunny spring weather.

It is snowing as I type here in NY. Yesturday with the wind it was in the teens.

AZ seems like the perfect state to me as I can never be too warm.
