Alright, you gals are freaking me out about swimming lessions with my 4yo son. At least all the moms with kids were cool about everyone being in some sort of undress. I think the most uncomfortable one was the high school teachers aid that was changing in the middle of all of us
My son pointing to the other boy: "you're nekkid"
other boy: "you're nekkid too"
my kid: "you have a weiner"
other kid" "you have a weiner too"

I almost felt sorry for the hs girl But all I could think about after gently reminding my son that it wasn't polite to make comments about other peoples bodies, was how far I've come being comfortable in my own skin, that bike tours and communal showers seemed like a rite of passage, and I hoped this sweet young girl would one day be as comfortable in her own skin, in a full locker room with small children of both sexes grinning like me

FWIW, as a single mom, my son may be 8 before I let him go in the mens locker room alone. I'm terribly protective when it comes to safety. So no chewing me a new anything, ok?? There aren't family changing rooms here.
