The day started out quite nice, but by the time I got on my bike it was raining. And a mile or two into the ride it was pouring. But I got to test out my brand new boot covers (thank you Duck!) and they worked pretty well. Kept the rain out from the top, but after two hours of riding through big puddles, water had got in from the bottom. But my feet were still warm with the extra layer of wind protection. Actually had a very good two hour ride despite strong winds and driving rain. Felt very tough by the time I got home.
