    Hyper-extended Elbow

Has anybody here ever had one? & how long did it take to heal??

It's been about a month now & it's getting old. Tried to ride this morning in big winds and handling the bike became painful, even though I tried not to straighten it.

I've got new, smaller bars that are going on as soon as my tape comes in. That will help a little.

I wouldn't ride with a setup that causes your elbow to overextend.

It took me 10 days to fix mine, with NO RIDING, and after I had identified the problem and fixed it by getting a shorter stem.

Unless you can ride all of your rides with no hands!!

no, I hyper-extended my elbow. It got bent a little backwards causing stretching and ouchiness to the tendons. BTW, didn't happen on the bike.

    PHew!

Well, I'm no PT, but I'd suggest to let it heal before you try riding again...

    But others might know better...

You may be right. Or at least til this stupid wind goes away.
