LOL - I agree with Jo.
I cant imagine I will want to look at my bike the day after the Brevet never mind get on it.The most effective way to do it, is to do it.

It'll be slow. But I have unfinished business with this ride. I was looking forward to it all last week, and then the chain snapped and I was out. So we'll just have a relaxed day. Riding with a teammate who was sick and missed the ride, so she's unsure about how strong she'll be also. It'll be a ramble. A vertical ramble.
It turned out to be a good thing that my chain broke and I brought the bike in, though. Rolf the tall German ex pro turned wrench (who was on some amateur team with Jensbob) was very Teutonically disapproving of some of my component adjustments. So I feel very happy about how my bike is right now.
Torn about which bike to use tomorrow and will probably just go with the Merckx. Packing light.Sarah

No, I need the luck! I think I've ridden once in the last two weeks. Let's just say my legs have gone beyond well-rested. The taper was a bit early.
