I found the loose tights to run small on the hips. I am an L in everything, but when i got a pair of L loose tights last year they were too snug on the butt. (everything else was fine)

Maybe it's just my butt is too big...

Anyway, I sent them back. Very sadly. You might want to call and ask them about fit for this year's model. (this year's has zipped pocket)

    DebW, you fashionista you!
DH razzes me if I wear shorts with a long-sleeve shirt; I can't imagine how he'd react to that get-up.

Thanks for the tip, Knot. I have that problem, too, where stuff is often too small for my butt. And the sidewalk's too close to my butt. And....well, you get the idea.

I do like those zipped pockets, though.

Waxless skis, of course. I'm not a fan of klister. If you mean how do I avoid sweating to death, well, I skied slowly since my ski partner was not quite recovered from bronchitis.

I'm tossing out all my cotton & poly dress socks. After wearing my "snowflake" smartwool socks to work I few times, I found that I don't come home w/soaking wet feet (I admit it: my feet sweat a lot!). Rei has a great deal going on now -- 10% off if you buy 3 or more pairs of socks. Stocked up on some smartwool socks that I can wear w/slacks to work.

Just about everything (except the Roaster Boxers and long underwear I really want and need) is on sale at Ibex right now. www.ibexwear.com

A couple things that Ibex has on sale are CHEAPER at Sierra Trading Post, so check both sites. www.sierratradingpost.com

Those SteepnCheap mannakins look like "Ease on Down the Road/Keep on Truckin'/R.Crumb" kind of posture.
