I am SO happy to hear this news! Good for the police for moving on it... hopefully they'll actually serve some time. It sickens me about the adoption thing. I have pretty strong opinions about drug use, criminals and sex offenders as far as what should be done... (I'll leave it at that, or I could easily start a board war here. )

So will you keep your stuff now, or get rid of it? I wonder if I'd be torn or if I'd just KNOW what I wanted to do with it... hard to say without having been there...
