    Bike stand

Anyone here have a single bike Bike Stand? Something that does what a kickstand used to, so you can safely leave the bike in the house without it having to be propped up on furniture, beds, etc. I found two on line
and neither of them seem too exciting.

Do you have a cadence sensor on the bike? If not, there is a style that the left crank arm fits into. I saw it somewhere recently pretty cheap. The base of my wheel truing stand is the same thing.

    I have a Quick stand: http://www.performancebike.com/shop/...slisearch=true

same idea as DebW, only you use your non-drive side and hook on both the chain stay and seat stay ... I love mine -- use to hold bike and to wash bike and to do quick repairs when necessary. I especially like it to hold bike when washing it -- easy to take outside and carry back in!

You know, that's the one I was looking for originally. I could NOT find it in their catalog. (I wonder how you did!)

I also have this one. Cheap, and works fine, for what it is (can see that if you were trying to do much mechanical work it wouldn't be enough, but fine for just a stand, or basic cleanings and small adjustments, etc.)

    Willworx Superstand

I recently started using Willworx Superstands and I *love* them. They're sturdy, simple yet classy, and take up very little space. The only part of my bike they touch is one tire, and yet the bike stays put and the stand doesn't slide around or tip over like others I've tried.

You can also buy connectors which allow you to join two or more Superstands, which looks awesome and takes up very little room.

In case you're into really big tires, they also make a wider one for that. But I use my superstand with road bikes, mountain bikes (with 1.9" to 2.25" tires) and even with a 29er and they all fit perfectly.

    I highly recommend it.

Does that hold your rear tire up so you can lube da chain? If so that's what I was looking for!!!
Do you rest the bracket in da groove?

Well you can't lube the chain if your crank is stuck in the holder though...
