I just love a winter bonfire! We have a neighborhood bonfire on New Year's Eve, too. Of course our "neighborhood" consists of a half-dozen houses on a sparsely-developed bayshore in northwest Florida (shh, don't tell anyone--it's a big secret), so there's never any snow, but we're far north enough that we usually have reasonably cool temps in January. But it would be lovely if we could have snow, too.
