Well, I've been exercising like a fiend. I'm looking better and I'm back down to 142 lbs. I was up last week. My pants are looser and the cottage cheese is slowly melting off.![]()

No big changes here (no weight loss or gain), a little perplexed that my basset hound lost more weight this year than I did (he just visited the vet).
I'm trying the Cyclo-core and Cyclo-zen dvds to jump start my body and see if that can pull my body out of hibernation.
Wahoo..I haven't weighed myself this week but i have to share something with you.
My clothing is getting looser on the sides & front. I'm able to fit into some of my size 12 clothing, depending on the manufacturer.![]()
I'll post the pic Ian sent to me of how I was 6yrs ago & now..![]()
Just a bit happy.

Hey, guys, can I get in on this weekly weigh-in thing? I'm not willing to share my actual weight, but I'd love the extra motivation to share my weekly progress (weight lost (hopefully notgained)). I'm doing the Weight Watchers points thing, but not going to the meetings--too expensive. I'd rather save that money for some nice new bike clothes after I shed a few pounds.
That said: I weigh myself on Wednesdays, and this week, down 2 pounds. I call that success!

Yay, glad to hear most people are losing weight and/or sizes! I am down two sizes since I started and I went out and bought two new pairs of pants for work last weekend because the ones I bought in October are too big now.![]()

My weight doesn't seem to be budging this week but it tends to do that, nothing one week, and then a lb or so lost the next.

I'm losing, too, but I always have these setbacks right around menstruation. This month, I could feel it coming on, and unlike last month, I didn't use it as an excuse to binge. But I STILL went backwards this week. I even worked out 4 times this week instead of 3, including a mountain biking trek not 4 hours after my morning cardio/weight lifting on Wednesday. My weight went up almost 3 pounds AFTER the start of my period!
It is trending back down...by about a half a pound this morning. But I can't take these setbacks every month. I've even thought of using the pill to skip periods until I get the weight off. I don't have to use BC, and it's been 24 years since I have been on the pill, and it wasn't a positive experience then (although I know they've changed a lot since then). I'm just that motivated! What do you think about that idea?

Well it might be worth it but... I am on the pill and usually, in the last day or so of the pack, I get a little bloated and tend to gain weight for a few days until my period is over. Now for the past couple of years, I've been taking three 21-packs in a row before taking a break to get my period. Interestingly enough, I am noticing that the bloating and weight gain even happens when I am at the end of a pack and starting a new one. I've watched this carefully for many months now and I'm pretty sure it's not my imagination or coincidence.
