Hmm-stress eating, boy have I been there! And I agree there is nothing quite like a wake up call - I liked how you put that "shopping in your own closet "and then the shopping trip- clothes can "hang all wrong" drives me crazy too! but the good news is as you said it "wasn't the disaster it could have been" and way to go for recognizing it for what it was.
