Yup, I wear mine almost every day now- too comfy!!!
Approach tight tip: instead of getting rid of the annoying drawstring loop and instead of having to tie it and untie it all the time- I first cut the excess loop so that there were two string ends instead, then I tied a tiny knot at the end of each end to keep it from unraveling. Then I found I can just leave the two ends totally untied but pull them snug without tying them and they will stay put nicely all day. No more fumbling in the bathroom! Be sure to lossely knot the drawstring ends together though if you put them in laundry because otherwise a string end might slip inside the waist casing during wash/dry.

There seem to be a lot of Ibex items now on sale that weren't on sale a couple of weeks ago...woolweenies might want to check them out. The Long Trail sweater is now on sale too, as are some gloves. But for some weird reason they have RAISED the sale price of the remaining Approach tights (only left in L and XL) from $60 to $75. Um, what's up with that??

Oh, I've just abused my visa at REI on some yummy wool. I got 2 pair of smartwool ski socks (I won't tell them I'm not using them for skiing if you won't). I also got this sweater: Merino! in black.
Now I have to wait til the 20th for delivery.![]()
Steep and cheep has a smartwool shirt for $18.75 xs only.

I know Steepandcheap goes fast but just in case anyones online and in the market for SmartWool Spectrum Twister Pants - they have them at Steepandcheap.com for about $38 total once you add on shipping.
Enough said. Don't think about it too long.

I picked these up last week when they were on Steep and Cheap, got them over the weekend, and i love, love, love them! I think I even like them more than my Ibex loose tights. They are really light weight, a nice low rise, and keep me nice and toasty without beeing too warm. The only down side is that they are like 6 inches too long for me! They say they make them long to account for shrinking in the initial washing... will have to see how much they shrink before I think about hemming them.
Got to try my REI merino wool long underwear today while xc skiing. Since it was 48 degrees, it was the classic look of long underwear and shorts.

Who has a pair of Ibex Loose Tights? I'd like to get a pair now while they're on sale, but once again, unsure of what size to order. If they run about like the El Fito's, I can do with a Large, but if they run smaller, I'll need the XL. Any advice?
