My life resembles all of these comments:
When one event is no longer enough for a daily workout.
When your sweetie wants to go away for the weekend and your first thought is of how it will disrupt your training plans.
When you turn down a night out with friends because you don't want to miss a workout....or happy hour after work because you are supposed to run
I will also add:
You workout 6-7 days a week.
You bore your friends who don't "get it" with stories of training and dreams of doing an Ironman- and you try to convince them they really want to travel across 2 states to support you!
You would rather buy a bike than go on an Italian vacation.
You have 2 bikes... and people who don't "get it" can't figure out WHY you need a tri bike AND a road bike... no matter how many times you try to explain it.
You belong to a tri club, a cycling club, 2 gyms AND you have a tri coach.
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside thoroughly used-up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: WOW WHAT A RIDE!!!!"
