There was a discussion on the different Schwalbe Marathon tires over at crazyguyonabike.com early last year that may give you some ideas. Discussion is here.
There are also some reviews of tires posted there. Here's a list of the tire reviews, many of which have comments from individuals in addition to the person who posted the review.
I am currently running Schwalbe Marathon slicks for touring, but I do not have the weight on my bike that you will have on your trip - I've been doing more light touring lately (no camping gear). The other Marathons (not the slicks) are probably more appropriate for your use. If you want to see the range of Schwalbe tires that are available, check the Schwalbe Tires site.
