    Better late than never

    Hi Gals:

I hope it is ok to join in now with the weigh-ins.
I have been monitoring my weight since Jan but not doing enough to actively have it drop.
Today I weigh 142- my goal is 135.
This last week I managed Tuesday:to get in a short run 45min
Wednesday: Evil Troy indoor interval session
    Thursday: yoga class
    Sat: Long slow run 1hr:45
This week my husband and I are both doing a 5 day cleanse so I am not sure how that will affect activity- hopefully it won't be so brutal as to inhibit physical activity- mostly I am worried about the "no coffee!" yikes- I am already anticipating the dull headache associated with the withdrawl!
    Wish me luck

Welcome Pika! Sounds like you're doing lots exercise which should help. I've never done a cleanse but always wanted to try one. It'll be interesting to see how much you lose.

I was disappointed with this week's weigh in. All of the numbers are up - weight, fat %age, metabolic age, and muscle mass went down. It's all incremental so I'm not worried, just a bit frustrated.

DH had a great weigh in for the second week. He's almost reached his April objectives. YAY!

And DH tells me that he can see the difference on me in a good way, so I suppose I should not worry too much about what the scale says. Of course some of my clothes are loose now, so he must be right!

In the last week I snowshoed Sunday, did a kickboxing workout Tuesday, rode the trainer for 35 minutes on Wednesday, and yoga each workday morning. The other days were the usual walk to work plus walking the dogs. In retrospect that's a pretty light week for exercise so I guess that's why the weigh in was what it was.

This week will be a tough one at work, I'm not sure how I'll fit those workouts and the school work I need to do in, and today I feel low like I"m fighting a bug. Hopefully I'll find some wellspring of energy and have a fabulous week!

Well done to all of you ladies working on this same goal! And, welcome Pika! Nice to "meet" you!

    Hugs and butterflies,

    What a week last week!

I'm at 171 and satisfied. Goal is 160 in four months.

Last week, I turned 44, had food poisoning, spent three days in Phoenix (w/exercise), got stranded in Chicago after an unplanned visit to Minneapolis, and came back to a schedule that wouldn't quit.

No excuses, but I'm pleased enough with a week like that with minimal backsliding. I'm back on track.

LBTC: Tell your DH congrats on the progress for me.

This week is much better, weight loss 1.5 (finally a more reasonable number, last week's loss was way too high). Total inches change from last week 4.5 (that is the number I like to see).

I altered my routine and am working on more weights. Today is fat Tuesday and I plan to over-induldge. I have been counting the days.
