Hi all!
I am seemingly the first one this year on this quest, but I know I won't be alone. I've made some research but haven't found anything convincing yet.
I need to find a lightcoloured (white or similar), lightweight (think hot summer), longsleeve cycling jersey. I need back pockets (no zippers please) and a zip neck, with some sort of a collar.
I'm getting married in late-August and of course I couldn't resist the strapless dress. (It's not a big gown, but still strapless.) I have a very fair skin and I know I will have to deal with some tan lines no matter what, but I'm trying to keep that to a minimum. (I have tan lines from my sports bra - a very specific pattern - and I swear I never walked around with just that sport bra on, so I tan very easily, even through my clothes.) I even have tan lines from a sun burn two years ago!!! If at least I can avoid a farmer's tan, it will be a nice start. Yes, I use a lot of sunscreen too. But a LS jersey would help.
Thanks ladies!!!

Terry (terrybicycles.com) usually carries a long sleeve "Summer" jersey. I have one in light blue and white and it is fairly cool to wear. I normally use it kayaking cause the water reflection can really cause a burn.

If you can't find specifically what you're looking for, have you considered men's jerseys? For example, this one

I see a lot of men's long sleeve jerseys in white. I've worn a couple men's jerseys and they fit OK. Better than some of my women's jerseys (because men's are longer) but, not quite as nice as some of my other women's jerseys. It's just another option!
Although, I looked at the Jaggad Solrace jersey and that looks pretty nice!
I've also been looking for a light weight sun protective jersey and boure dot com has a new team jersey that is UPF50. It sounds great for hot weather riding. If you preorder it's $10 off. I thought about ordering the Jaggad Solrace, but this is less expensive and a higher UPF to boot. I ended up ordering one for my Ironman-in-training DH, too.![]()
It won't arrive until April, but given that we got about a foot of snow since Friday, I'm not in immediate need of it!![]()

I have a very lightweight longsleeve jersey from LL Bean that I wore all last summer. Good sun protection, but very comfortable in hot weather. I got the "screaming yellow" version for visibility.
