You guys rock!!!!!
Sounds great! Hitting your intervals... and going the distance. Too bad you got kicked out of the pool.
Keep up the amazing work!
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside thoroughly used-up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: WOW WHAT A RIDE!!!!"
I think its awesome that even tho your DH isn't as "enthused" (better choice of wording than "supportive") as you are about your progress you still maintain dedication and drive and a positive attitude.
I say "You go wit' yo' bad sef!"(Slang for "congratulations!")
Good job RnR. A good swim always feels fantastic. I love that sensation of things clicking into place and then all of a sudden you've taken 5 to 10 sec off a 100 and it doesn't even feel hard.
I hope you a ton more workouts like it.
Living life like there's no tomorrow.

Super! You inspire me...![]()
In defense of my DH...he is incredibly supportive and runs and rides with me and will get back in the water eventually. He just glazed over at the interval times
Hell he has been by my side doing my workouts for the past 6 weeks. If I say it is an easy week, he sticks right by me....
he has been running in the sleet, and freezing rain and biking in 5 degree weather to help me....he just has this thing about getting back in the pool. He is a great swimmer, I do not know what the issue is....
maybe if he does...then I will make him do the race with me!!!!! Ha!
