I just couldn't resist posting the latest picture of my dear Lucy. I think this is a new yoga position - the Down Cat.

IF - What a cute kitty!!

Like Wahine I'm still heartbroken over the loss of my pups, my two Border Collies were like my children and even two years later I can't believe they're gone. Those of you with furry babies at home...give them snuggles from me please.

Queen - I know exactly how you feel. I have lost pets over the years and it is like losing a child. Years later I still grieve for them at times. I will give mine an extra hug from you tonight

You know, I think I take more pictures of my cats than I ever did of my children.

We have 2 collies: a tricolored smooth coat (bet you didn't know that there's a short haired variety of collie) and a blue merle rough coat (Lassie disguised as an Australian Shepherd). We also have 2 tabby cats. I'd love to post their pictures, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Heres my babies: the chocolate colored one is a boy chihuahua, his name is Abarenbo Shogun. His quite a sassy one and kind of stuck up, but his nice to others. The blonde one is a girl chihuahua/toy fox terrier mix, her name is Abbey. She's the wild child, I think she has ADD. hahaha. She love to run circles around Abarenbo.

Here are several pictures of my handsome boy, Linus...or my fluffy boyfriend, as I often refer to him. He is as mutty as they come. His favorite things are cats, squirrels, my bed (especially when he's wet, smelly, or dirty), buttered toast (he gets really irritated when he's offered unbuttered toast), and me. Probably in that order. My favorite thing is him

ID:	5301 The two young ones are perpetual motion. The old guy sits back and watches, but in his hayday he would have given them a run for their money.

I had posted about my three putty-cats earlier...but we have added a new fur-kid recently. Just before Christmas, we decided that we needed to do a good samaritan ride to the shelters from which we had gotten our other cats to deliver food and other goodies. Low and behold, there was one tiny kitten who stole our hearts and our family of 4 became a family of 5. Me, the DH, Elwood, Jake, Tortuga and Cuchulainn (pronounced Coo-Hool-lin or Cuey for short). Here she is...

This is our dearly beloved and much missed Raptus,
as a newborn, at my mother's place
    3 weeks old, same place
about 3 months old, with us, checking out her new abode and all that comes with it
and almost adult, owning the sofa. That look in her eye means she's waiting for you to cuddle her belly before she bites your hand.

She was hit by a car last summer, just before she turned one year old, one year to the day after my brother died. It broke my ten-year old son's heart We buried her under the blue rose bush in the back garden. We light a candle over the spot every now and then, and it looks especially beautiful in the snow.

I hope you're biting somebody's hand in heaven, sweetheart.

Roadie gal - Glad you posted the pix. Toby is a doll. And, yup, I knew there was a short-haired variety. Hey, I watch Westminster!

Thanks! Yes they do look cute all wet. We have a portion of the lake in our local pond dubbed "Dog Beach" It's fenced off from the rest of the lake, so the dogs can play around and have a good time.
