How about 'Mixed Nuts'? Everyone could also have a nickname -- Peanut, Filbert, Walnut, etc. etc.

You are all so much fun!

    I love reading your ideas!!

For some background - this is MOSTLY (but not all) single folks between mid-30's and mid-50's. Male and female. Divorced and never married. There are 2-3 married folks riding with us. I probably won't know exactly who's riding with us before I order jersey's (people can join the team right to the last moments), so a play on names won't work well.

You will all love this one -- complements of my sister -- she suggested we call ourselves Team Fagowi. I asked her what the heck that's supposed to stand for.

    Team Maillot Jaundice

(a play on Maillot Jaune, or "yellow jersey"). You could all wear yellow jerseys with your name in iron-on felt letters. Fun AND visible.

I'd like to say I'm clever enough to think up the pun, but I'm not. In this years Race Across Oregon, there was a 2-person team that called themselves Team Maillot Jaundice. I thought it was hysterical. But then again, maybe I'm easily amused.

    Where the Fagowi?!

I really like that one, said it a few times to myself. I've gone on a few group rides and hung on for dear life making sure I didn't get dropped because I've not known where the fagowi.
