Explanation of your handle: It's always been something I used. Dark because I am a dark person in sense of my poetry and my style. Eros someone told me to use it so I did. and 07 because 7 is my favorite number I was born on the 7th and so was my hubby.

Explanation of your avatar: Tried but it didnt work.

Age (general or specific) 20, I will be 21 Sept 7th, oddly enough I am going to the bar the NEXT night so that I can sing Kareoke and not drink. lol

Occupation: I am going to be going back to work in March to redo my Certified Nursing Assistant Training after losing it because I haven't worked since 2003

Favorite bike: I don't have one really.

What's in your stable? NOTHING! Yeap thats right Not a single bike. They were all stolen.

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? That was 50 going down a big hill coming home from my friends house. Almost crashed. Pedaling it would have to be 30 going threw the Ionia State Park in Ionia Michigan this was all a few years back.

Another picture of yourself or your ride? I don't have very many pixs of myself - I hate having my pix taken

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: "I don't love you anymore"

Most memorable moment on my bike: I guess riding with my dad.

Most fun ever had on a bike? Riding with my dad on the trails at the Ionia State Park in Ionia Michigan

My father passed away July 7th 2005. Which was my husbands 20th birthday. He is greatly missed and I ride for him. He started me riding when I was 3 and I rode for the first time without training wheels at the age of 4 and havent stoped yet. Anyways thats bout all. Oh and all my stuff was stolen from my dads house so I no longer have a bike, tools, or anything.

Welcome to the forum! Hoping you get a bike and begin riding again -- if only to create new memories about bike riding!

You are my inspiration and light, you gave me a bike, and told me to go and I haven't stoped yet. I will love you forever and Always.

Explanation of your handle: I'm short. I like to read. Used to wear red baggy cotten pants.

Explanation of your avatar: uh huh

Age (general or specific) almost 41

    Occupation: Senior Paralegal

Favorite bike: The one that's on order -- custom Waterford
What's in your stable? Giant Cypress

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? Let me get back to you on that one
Another picture of yourself or your ride? Um. Ditto

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: It's in the mail.

Most memorable moment on my bike: So far... Riding Bike the Drive (http://www.bikethedrive.org/) last year. Lake Shore Drive is completely closed down for three hours just for bikes. Watching the sun come up over Lake Michigan while biking LSD was just gosh darn so neat!

Most fun ever had on a bike? It hasn't happened yet but the above was pretty cool. Oh, and having a professional bike fitting this past weekend was also pretty nifty.

Just wondering what's a "Senior" Paralegal - Does that mean you are over 40? IF so, I'm one too!

It means that I've been doing the same thing for too long and there is no ladder for me to climb. In another 5-7 years they'll have to call me Ancient Paralegal

    getting to know you

    Real name: Barbara
Where do you live? Denton, Texas

Explanation of your handle: well , being named Barbara, my brother, Drew, called me Babz - he added the Z for my middle name, Zoe. Drew died as a result of a nasty cancer and he was an avid athlete and cyclist so I did my first Ride for the Roses in his honor - I think it's proper that I choose his "handle" for me.

Explanation of your avatar: avatar? I had to look it up... say what you mean - mean what you say .... and I guess try to speak in terms of what you want

Age Just turned 47 in January!

Occupation: my day job is in sales, but I'm an artist and my current muse is a one of a kind recycled clothing line called bibelo - I'm represented in a local boutique and plan to be able to go to market in the Fall!! I'm also working on getting a teaching certificate.

Favorite bike: That would be the Centurian Super Lemans - Black Bart - that I rode in college!

What's in your stable? Two Treks - and a lot of dust bunnies

Fastest speed on a road bike? I think it was 38mph going down hill at a ride up in Munster but that was only before I got nervous ... I'm kind of a cruiser really.

Another picture of yourself or your ride? I'll have to figure out where they are archived and get back to you

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: well ... I am in sales so I tell a lot of stories ..... plus I just make up goofy stuff for the heck of it just to see how someone will react - but I'm not a devious malicious liar - I'd rather be sort of like the dad in Big Fish.

Most memorable moment on my bike: there are a whole series of them - last spring I decided to begin triathlon training and my then 17 year old daughter said - "I want to do that with you" ... so I was thrilled and privleged to have her as a riding buddy. We had a blast on our actual race day but each training ride was a real treat!

Most fun ever had on a bike? I guess it would have to be those last couple of seconds of balance before crashing into a sandy curve out at a trail at lake grapevine - it was even funnier because I had just emptied a bottle of water over my head so when I stood up I looked like a snickerdoodle dipped in sand and ready for the oven!

You really should! Last year was a bit muggy, but it was still worth it. I would recommend getting a hotel ASAP if you don't have anyone to stay with in the City. Let me know if you decide to come so we can meet up.

Queen - I certainly don't know you & I assume your niece does, but you seem anything but boring!

More acurately...she acts fabulous and I trail along slightly confused as to why anyone would wear a dress and heels if they didn't absolutely HAVE to.
