That's great you use visualization. This is such an important part of training, that is so often neglected. Visualizing success over obstacle or completing distances or climbing hills helps build confidence on the bike. Unfortunately my students aren't too keen on the imagery and visualization. Practicing imagery and visualization on the spin bikes is ideal since well, you're moving you're legs, so you can picture what your path in front of you looks like in your head; what it is you want to accomplish.
