"Poser" is more commonly spelled "poseur" probably just to be "bike snooty", but there you have it.

Interesting that this list's definition of "Fred" is the converse of most I've seen. Here, the "Fred" has all the gear and no skill; when you ask a forum, they'll say "the guy with no gear who kicks your butt."
