Minty... I just had a BRILLIANT idea that's gona solve all your problems.

Buy lighter coulored shorts. ^_^ ie, Yellow or white or pink or light grey or something.

^_^ That way even if the hair still comes through, you can't hardly notice it.

There are lighter coloured shorts out there. but Melbourne's chock full of bike stores it probably will take a little ground work but you'll find a pair that suits you.

    TA-DA!

Woo Hoo! I hadn't thought of getting lighter shorts. I'll have to consult my bike and see how he feels about me not wearing blue, black and silver to match him (yep, she talks to her bike. Don't pretend you don't do it too).

Sounds like an opportunity to buy more gear! Yay!

Beyond that, I think hair being longer rather than shorter is the way to go. Oh, and the conditioner idea worked pretty well too.

May be cheaper to keep your black shorts and just use a black magic marker on whatever pokes thru!

Also, the foam/cream hair removers might work better than shaving and definitely less painful than waxing.

Also, I think the natural plan would also work.

OMG! I make my own shorts/knickers and don't even put a chamois IN them! Of course I don't shave that area either, but never even THOUGHT about that. I double the fabric to cover the seams when making them, but I haven't tried to sew a chamois in. I don't know that I have that problem, but I don't know if anyone would tell me if they noticed
Don't think of it as getting hot flashes. Think of it as your inner child playing with matches
