I'm having some trouble taking off some weird black paint on the chain stay. if i can't get it off.. then i guess i've gotta powder coat this puppy.
any ideas for colors or designs if i go this route?? although i'd love to have something totally fancy and lovely.. i'm thinking maybe i ought to stay true to the original frame style...
i'd like something nice but not too fancy. something that accents the lugs and is classic.. maybe? i'm also thinking something that doesn't scream, yell or loudly proclaim "STEAL ME!!" (and maybe that's an argument to not re-paint it..)
but maybe with a touch of.. something unique? i dunno. which is why i'm kinda asking you folks for some thoughts.
anyone know of some trustworthy powder coating companies? i've looked into spectrum, sycip, maas tech which i think all do nice jobs but if anyone has any personal experience, i'd love to hear about it!
